2012 to be determined	KIDS FISHING TOURNAMENT Long Point Beach. Kids fish off the beach and try to catch the longest fish.  Trophies awarded in 5 different age groups.  Food and beverages available.  Door prizes, 50/50 raffle and free gifts for the kids.  Registration at 11 am.  Tournament begins at 11:30 and goes to 1:30. 1st Thursday of month	Civic Association Meeting Civic Association meetings are for all of the community to attend.  Please join us in bettering "Our Golden Beach".  If you have any ideas we encourage you to come and voice your opinion.  We welcome anyone to bring new ideas. 7pm at the Golden Beach Firehouse. NOW GOING ON	3rd annual mulch sale Now is the time to buy your mulch. You should receive a mulch flyer with all the details and an order form at your home this Saturday Feb 11th. Fill out the form and send your check ASAP.  Your mulch will be delivered on March 10 th right to your home.  What a great idea and it supports your community. 2012 to be determined	EASTER EGG HUNT A great event for kidsof all ages.  Held at Long Point	LONG POINT BEACH
2012 to be determined	CHRISTMAS BAZZAR 10 to 3 at the Golden Beach Firehouse. Pictures with SANTA (11 to 3) and over 25 vendors will be there.  This has always been a great time for everyone.
