Duties: Duties of the Vice-President
The Vice-President acts for the President,
when necessary. In case of resignation or death of the President, the Vice-President becomes President, unless other
method is provided for in the By-Laws. The
Vice-President cannot fill vacancies where the By-Laws state that such vacancies shall be filled by the President. If the President is absent, the Vice-President is not
ex-officio a member of any committee. Duties of Secretary The Secretary sends out notices of meetings and should
write such letters as the Board may dictate. The Secretary is responsible for keeping careful records of all business of the meetings, exact wording of each motion
and the results of such motions. Speeches should be summarized or excerpted without editorial comment. The Secretary should be prepared and on hand early before
meetings and should have a copy of the By-Laws, rules, the book of parliamentary procedure used by the organization, membership
list, notes on unfinished business for the use of the presiding officer. Duties of Treasurer The treasurer should be bonded as the keeper of the funds, to receive and disburse as authorized by
the organization. The organization
authorizes the procedure to be followed by the Treasurer in paying bills which should always be accompanied by receipts. The Treasurer should make a monthly statement and an annual
report which should then be audited. Officers
