WELCOME TO OUR SITE
Our community is a wonderful place to live and raise a family. We have highly motivated and dedicated hard working board members and volunteers within the Civil Association, that keep us going.
Please visit our site often and send us your feedback and requests on how we can make the site and your beach a better place to live. We have our Civic Association meetings on the first Thursday of each month at 7pm at the Golden Beach Firehouse. We welcome you to come by and meet us and hopefully join us as we plan events for our community.
President's Message
Happy New Year to all ! As we start a new year I look back at the things we did last year. All of our events were a success and we managed to pay all our bills and remain in the black. The Fireworks for the Independence Day Celebration is our biggest expense and I am glad to say that we had the best display ever ! For us to continue to provide the events as we have in the past, we must have a community that continues to support our actions. Our community really does this by supporting our 2 largest fund-raisers; Our Mulch Sale in March, and our Christmas Bazaar in December. Please continue to support these events and encourage your neighbors to support them as well. Some people think that the Civic Association gets part of the mandatory $28 assessment that is required each year as a property owner. We get none of that money and we rely solely on fund-raisers and donations. That money goes to BEMANCO which is totally separate from the civic association and is used to maintain our common areas, piers, boat ramps and to provide secutity at our beaches in the summer months. We also rent our sign at the entrance to local clubs and businesses for additional revenue. You can also become a sponsor on this website to advertise your business or just add your name as a sponsor. Thank you all for your participation last year and please continue to help out where you can. Remember all money is put back into your community and everyone who helps out is a volunteer. I hope to see some new faces this year at our monthly meetings and remember your suggestions and comments are always welcome. It's your community, please get involved

MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS The tragedy of losing a loved one is difficult, but many families find comfort in honoring the life
of a those they have lost by requesting memorial contributions be made to a specific charity. Through memorial contributions to the Golden Beach/Patuxent Knolls
Civic Association, family, friends and acquaintances can express their condolences with the positive action of supporting
events that we put on for the enjoyment of our community - like the fireworks at our Independence Day Celebration. When a memorial gift is received, we notify the deceased's
family of the donations made in memory of their loved one. If you are faced with the challenges of end-of-life decisions, please consider our wonderful community and
request memorial contributions be made to the Golden Beach/Patuxent Knolls Civic Association, P. O. Box 106, Charlotte Hall,
